Wafa is Senior Executive - Precious Stones at DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) where she has worked for over 12.5 years.
Wafa has contributed to sustainability initiatives promoting transparency and responsible sourcing through the Kimberley Process and industry governance. She is part of the Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) charity support project, which supports artisanal miners and their communities, fostering social and economic development at the source of the supply chain.
She serves as a Board Member of the World Diamond Council, contributing to global efforts to protect the integrity of the diamond supply chain, advocate for ethical practices, and engage with stakeholders on responsible sourcing frameworks. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Women in Diamonds Dubai Group, championing inclusion and empowerment within the industry.
